1. Catch the first Pokemon you encounter in each route/cave/whatever and nothing else. If you fail to catch it, too bad, continue onwards. 2. If you Pokemon faints, consider it dead and release it. And I think I’ll also do these optional rules 4. Nickname all Pokemon caught I might document my journey.
3. The use of potions and healing items is banned, rely only on Pokémon Centers for healing.
